Wow, lotta memories. I miss the MC days most of all, the game was still a mystery then. All this new content almost makes me wanna reactivate.
Some other early highlights that come to mind... Envoy at OAglen, Emia ninjaing the 2nd azuregos kill, IO vs OA at Kazzak, 4:30am dragon phone chains, telling DG that to pull Golemagg you had to jump off the bridge, Bloss making my advanced target dummy for the quest when we were still strangers. Last but not least, religiously running UBRS then either scholo or strat every single night for God knows how long. Oh and Rasta took my fucking dreadmist robes.
Boss with old abilities from 6 different boss combined into one, with new names, new graphics, and an enrage timer that is totally asinine. This defines MOST new content.
But Ulduar, man the more I Look back, the more I realize that place is the CAPSTONE raid achievement in WoTLK. Much like Kael'Thas, and Vashj were considered the true raids of TBC. Ulduar had some good shit, and it wasnt tuned badly except for the first week of bugs, and 1 boss that was overtuned. I might not have been a fan for clearing it for 6 months, but damn, its a GREAT raid compared to the trash of varying levels weve been given SINCE then.

Does Shadowmourne decimate? Yes. Is Shadowmourne a legendary? Yes. Sad facts of life I'm afraid. In my opinion. avoid the plate wearer glowing purple with souls. But then again you don't find Shadowmourne in PvP, it finds you. - MMO Champion Forums, Shadowmourne PvP QQ Thread.

I think the first Onyxia kill was up there for me. My ears were bleeding after all the screams on vent. And BWL, that was the only 40 man I was there for all the first kills, so that was kinda cool. Kiting like 10 dragons while blossom and Ghatan only had 2 each on Razorgore. I took pride in the one thing I could actually do better than my man Bloss. Or perhaps my refusal to use any DKP to take those godawful spaceship shoulderpads.

I remember this, I always wondered why I only had one or two dragons on me as well (after agro-ing 6 or 7). I later found out that you were pulling my dragons off of me to add to your own pile.
Im not too sure if many people remember me, i didnt really talk much back when i was in OA. When i look back at it, i cant beleive it was 6 years ago i was playing with you guys. I was actually 14 at that time, probably one of the youngest in the guild. I remember the days before the merger with LoD, and farming countless hours in hearthglen. My favorite memory though was definitely in BWL. I remember the countless hours attempting Vael, when you could only do an hour/night.
I would legit stay up till 4 with you guys, just to go to school at 6, only to come home at 2 and do it all over again. Ive missed countless nights of sleep because of you guys.
Sorry for the nostalgic tone in my text, but i have been reminiscing about the original wow for a few days now, and found you guys again
I loved many phases of the game, but all the old stuff is definitely what sticks out in retrospect. Downing content is not nearly as important or prominent in my mind as vent convo's and guild chat lashings.
If I didn't talk to you back in the day, I want you to know... I was never much of an outgoing gamer. I was very goal driven (which makes much less sense to me now), yet I spent much more time helping others than doing anything for myself... which I guess is just how I am.
Was worth it tho, you guys (& ony, rev, kandy) were among my closest friend's in high school. Kind of random, but when I first got into the game my best friend had just killed himself; and I avoided talking about it by hanging with yall. I appreciate the good times, the 4am calls, and all the laughs.
At some point down the road, I'm going to have time to game some again and I hope it's with yall.
Also, I brought a couple mics (hopefully 1 works) back to school from home, I'll drop by sometime soon. You may make fun of my lovable country accent to your heart's content.

You were/are one cool dude friendo. Miss hangin out with ya in the ole world of warcraft. Doing ZA's and whatnot. If you end up playing again definitely let me know. I transferred my Paladin to a different server to play with an old EQ friend during the day but still raid with OA when I can at night. If I know when you'll be around I'll log over and hang out
